Contact the surgical team promptly about worsening pain, spreading redness, fever, unusual drainage or a wound opening. Chest pain, difficulty breathing, fainting or sudden severe symptoms require emergency medical care.
Results take time to assess
Discuss when the team expects swelling to settle enough to assess your result. Scars continue to change during healing. Keep follow-up visits and raise concerns directly rather than comparing early recovery with promotional photographs.
